📍 Location: Downtown Montreal (Hybrid – Min. 3 days onsite/week)
💼 Contract: 3 months (strong chance of 6-month extension)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Bilingual (French/English) Senior Network Engineer to support a major infrastructure initiative for our bioscience client located in Downtown Montreal.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in setting up a new office and leading a critical network remediation and modernization project. We’re looking for someone with deep hands-on experience in Cisco, Juniper, Meraki, and ideally FortiGate, who thrives in both legacy and modern environments.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
Remediate and enhance existing Cisco and Juniper infrastructure
Design, deploy, and optimize Cisco Meraki solutions
Provide expert-level network troubleshooting and implementation
Ensure network performance, security, and scalability
Document network architecture (current and future state)
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on delivery
✅ What You Bring:
Bilingual (French/English) communication skills
Senior-level expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki technologies
Proven experience in network remediation, optimization, and redesign
In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and network security
Ability to lead complex projects independently and deliver results
🌟 Nice to Have:
FortiGate firewall experience
Familiarity with SD-WAN, VPNs, and enterprise security best practices
Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, Meraki CMNA
