Senior Automation Specialist

We’re Hiring: Senior Automation Specialist – 24-Month Contract | Hybrid | Montreal
📍 Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
🕒 Duration: 24 months

🌐 Language: Bilingual (English & French) required
Are you a seasoned Automation Specialist with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, scripting, and modern DevOps practices? We’re partnering with a high-impact organization on a 2-year contract opportunity to help modernize and automate large-scale IT systems in a complex, enterprise environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform (IaC)
Manage and optimize automation using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Deploy and manage AWS-based infrastructure
Develop and integrate APIs for system interoperability
Apply Agile methodologies to manage tasks and project delivery
✅ What We’re Looking For:
10+ years in IT infrastructure (5+ in senior roles)
Strong skills in Terraform, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Active Directory, and AWS
Knowledge of security tools like CyberArk, SailPoint, HashiCorp Vault, and ForgeRock
Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (SAML/OIDC), and DLP solutions
Comfortable with VMware, Citrix, Commvault, and server hardening
Bilingual (English & French) with strong interpersonal and communication skills
🏆 Nice to Have:
Leadership or mentoring experience
Background in banking, government, or real estate infrastructure projects
Passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement
👥 Work Structure:
Hybrid model – Minimum 2 days onsite in Montreal per week
Full-time hours (37.5 hrs/week)
Potential for conversion to permanent (TBD)
