🛡️ We’re Hiring: Senior Cyber Security Team Lead – Americas Region (Montreal, Canada) 🛡️
Are you passionate about defending critical systems and leading high-impact security initiatives? We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Team Lead to join our IT Vulnerabilities Remediation team and drive excellence in securing our IT environments across software, hardware, and network infrastructures.
This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, ensuring our systems remain robust, compliant, and resilient in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
As the Senior Cyber Security Team Lead, you will:
🔸 Lead vulnerability remediation efforts across Windows, Linux, and Unix servers.
🔸 Oversee IT obsolescence planning and drive remediation activities throughout the Americas region.
🔸 Perform root cause analyses on recurring vulnerabilities detected by tools such as Tenable and Nessus.
🔸 Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, best practices, and documentation.
🔸 Serve as the primary point of contact for vulnerability remediation progress reporting to clients and senior stakeholders.
🔸 Mentor and guide a team of security administrators, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
🔸 Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, network, application, and database teams to deliver integrated solutions.
🔸 Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Conduct vulnerability assessments, design solutions, and oversee patching activities.
✔ Report weekly progress and provide clear, actionable updates to clients and leadership.
✔ Act as an escalation point for complex security issues, guiding resolution strategies.
✔ Drive improvements in service performance, incident management, and change management.
✔ Stay up to date on emerging cyber threats and trends to strengthen our defenses proactively.
Our Ideal Profile:
✅ 5–6+ years of experience in Cyber Security, including vulnerability remediation and penetration testing.
✅ Deep expertise in Information Security, Cyber Security, and Network Security principles.
✅ Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS).
✅ Familiarity with tools such as Tenable, Nessus, and patch management solutions.
✅ Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex network and system environments.
✅ Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
✨ Industry certifications: CCNA, Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, eJPT, or similar.
✨ Capital Markets domain experience.
✨ Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
