About the Role
As a Change Management Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping organizations effectively adopt change across people, processes, and technology. You will provide expert guidance, build internal change capability, and support projects from planning through to adoption and sustainment.
Key Responsibilities
I’d appreciate it if you could provide expert coaching and guidance on change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Partner with leaders and teams to support people through change and reduce resistance.
Be an active and visible coach for senior leaders, stakeholders, and change champions.
Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and other specialists to embed change management practices.
Develop and implement change management plans, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead readiness assessments and stakeholder analysis to guide strategy development.
Track and report on adoption, proficiency, and overall change impact.
Ensure the long-term sustainment of change by embedding practices into the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
Change Management Expertise: Proven experience with industry-standard change management methodologies and tools.
Strategy Development: Expertise in developing and executing training, communication, and change plans.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to influence and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Communication & Conflict Resolution: Exceptional written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Project Understanding: Familiarity with the full project lifecycle and integration of change management.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess risk, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
Desirable Experience
Leading medium to large transformational projects.
Conducting change impact and readiness assessments.
Developing success metrics and tracking adoption and utilization.
Collaborating with HR, communications, and training professionals to implement change initiatives.
Facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions and executive presentations.
Must-Haves
Direct experience with change management standards and tools.
Strong communication and engagement planning capabilities.
Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups, including executives.
