SOC Analyst

🔐 Now Hiring: SOC Analyst (Spanish-Speaking) – 6-Month Contract | Hybrid in Scarborough

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to take on a mission-critical role at one of Canada’s top financial institutions? We are expanding its team and looking for a SOC Analyst to support the Data Loss Monitoring (DLM) program with a specific focus on Email Quarantine Releases (EQRs) in the Mexico region.

This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, offering exposure to cutting-edge technologies, real-time incident response, and an opportunity to help protect global data assets.

📍 Location:
Hybrid – Scarborough (1 day/week onsite)
⏳ Contract Duration:
6 Months (extension possible)
🕘 Hours:
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hrs/week) – Must be flexible for occasional evening support

🌐 Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and review quarantined emails from the Mexico region
Investigate data loss and phishing alerts using SIEM and threat intelligence tools
Support global DLM strategy in a high-security environment
Respond to security events and provide recommendations for remediation
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

✅ What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in network security, IT support, or related technical field
1+ years of hands-on experience in cyber investigations and SIEM platforms
Bilingual in Spanish & English – required
Experience in SOC environments is a strong asset
Strong analytical skills and an ability to prioritize under pressure

🎓 Preferred Background:
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related technical field
Security certifications like GSEC, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CEH, OSCP are a plus
