Focus Systems is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the data migration workstream for a major cloud transformation initiative at an important client in Saskatchewan’s public sector. You’ll play a crucial role in modernizing critical business operations, working with internal teams and vendor partners to deliver a seamless data transition.

Key Details:
Location: Onsite in Regina, SK
Contract Term: May 1, 2025 – May 1, 2027 (with two potential one-year extensions)
Schedule: Full-time, onsite

What You’ll Be Doing:
⭐ Lead a large-scale data migration project within a major business transformation initiative
⭐ Oversee project scope, budget, risk management, and deliverables
⭐ Work closely with technical experts, business SMEs, and vendor partners
⭐ Ensure smooth integration, conversion, and reporting for the new cloud solution
⭐ Report directly to senior leadership and drive project success

What You’ll Need to Bring:
✔️ Proven experience leading large-scale data conversion/migration projects
✔️ Strong project management expertise (PMP or equivalent preferred)
✔️ Ability to manage external vendors and internal teams effectively
✔️ Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
✔️ Strong understanding of cloud-based system implementations

Bonus Points if You Have:
✔️ Experience with government or workers’ compensation systems
✔️ Familiarity with enterprise-level digital transformations
✔️ Background in data governance and regulatory compliance
