Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager (IT) to oversee critical IT projects, including the migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online (SPOs) and the mitigation of cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the infrastructure.

Project Highlights:
Project #1: SharePoint 2016 Migration to SharePoint Online (SPOs)
The team is upgrading from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online for our client. Key tasks will include:
Engaging with Migration Leads to introduce the Migration Assistance Planner (MAP) tool.
Coordinating move, add, and change activities for SharePoint sites with the CCS team.
Collaborating with partners to assess current SharePoint sites and plan their transition to SPOs.
Managing the retirement of SharePoint 2016 infrastructure post-migration.

Project #2: Cybersecurity Vulnerability Mitigation Program
This project focuses on reducing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for the client’s computer servers. Activities will involve:
Scheduling server upgrades and decommissioning with various Service Owners.
Coordinating upgrade timelines and ensuring completion of necessary actions.
Working to ensure that MS-Servers near the end of their life are upgraded to supported versions.
Responsibilities:

Ensure effective communication with project sponsors, escalating risks and issues as necessary.
Lead change management processes and help deliver communication support to business teams.

Review project outcomes and recommend improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:
Must Have:
3 to 5 years of hands-on project management experience in IT.
Education: Computer Science degree or related field.
Work Experience:
4 years of experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
4 years of experience developing project deliverables (charters, business cases, etc.).
4 years of experience in project management roles.
4 years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
4 years of experience leading complex custom software projects.
Preferred Experience:
3 years of experience managing cybersecurity vulnerability mitigation projects.
3 years of experience with SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online migration.
3 years of experience working in an enterprise architecture environment.
3 years of experience in change management and communication planning.
Proficiency with MS Project tools in a project server environment.
Certifications:
Active PMP or PGMP certification is a must.
