We’re looking for an experienced Cyber Network Analyst with expertise in F5 BIG-IP technology to join a dynamic team working on high-priority projects. This is your chance to play a key role in implementing and supporting Web Access Firewall (WAF) solutions, an essential component of Zero Trust security architecture. You’ll be part of a critical initiative to enhance security for 66 high-priority applications within a prominent organization’s network, ensuring that only authorized users can access sensitive applications.
About the Role: In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting Web Access Firewall (WAF) technologies to secure web applications from evolving cyber threats. As part of the Tech Debt Program, you’ll help mitigate risks, and vulnerabilities, and optimize infrastructure for mission-critical systems. Your expertise will guide the team in achieving robust, secure, and efficient application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Led the planning and implementation of WAF solutions to secure web applications.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance Zero Trust security architecture.
Ensure the smooth migration, upgrade, and optimization of F5 BIG-IP systems.
Troubleshoot application delivery and traffic management issues, ensuring optimal performance.
Provide subject-matter expertise for F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, and related technologies.
Maintain and document best practices for IT infrastructure architecture, routing, switching, and security.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Required).
Certifications:
F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) (Required).
F5 Certified Technical Specialist (F5-CTS) (Preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of direct involvement in F5 BIG-IP system management and migration.
Proven track record with Cisco layer 1-3 technologies (Planning, design, implementation).
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, IP routing, LAN and WAN protocols, and firewall security.
Strong expertise in troubleshooting network and application delivery issues, including L2-L3 troubleshooting and analyzing TCP dumps.
Comprehensive knowledge of traffic management and F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM.
