Senior IT/OT Consultant

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior IT/OT Consultant for a government client in Toronto. This is a hybrid contract role (3 days on-site) and requires a strong background in securing IT/OT environments, specifically within government jurisdictions, Utilities, or large private sector organizations with OT environments.

Key Responsibilities:
-Evaluate IT/OT systems for vulnerabilities and assess security frameworks against industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISA-62443).
-Test and validate security controls (firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS) and recommend improvements.
-Prepare clear, detailed reports on security assessments, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:
– 8-10 years of hands-on experience securing IT and OT systems.
– Strong knowledge of Industrial Control Systems, PLCs, SCADA, and IT/OT convergence.
– Expertise in security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, AV).
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC GRID etc.) are a must.
