Are you ready to help shape the future of public health technology? We’re seeking TWO DevOps/Cloud Engineers to join our team and work on cutting-edge cloud solutions that will have a direct impact on public health.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Cloud Expert: Leverage your AWS cloud platform knowledge to design, build, and support innovative solutions within the Public Health domain.
System Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor and assess the performance of applications in cloud environments, ensuring optimal availability.
Linux Guru: Utilize your experience with Linux (Red-Hat) to troubleshoot, harden, and automate systems for greater efficiency and security.
Security Advocate: Assist in creating and implementing safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
Log Analysis: Review production logs regularly, providing insights and suggestions for improvements.
Microservices & Containerization: Work with microservices architecture, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation for system design, integration, configuration, development, and implementation of related activities.
System Design: Develop and maintain system design models, technical documentation, and specifications for cloud infrastructure.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: 5-10 years in IT with a focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and security.
AWS Expertise: Proficiency in managing AWS resources and services, including Amazon EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Aurora DB, and CloudWatch.
Cloud-Based Systems: Experience with the deployment, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Automation: Proven ability to deploy and automate packages for cloud-based systems, leveraging DevOps tools like Gitlab, CI/CD integration, and other automation frameworks.
Salesforce/MuleSoft Integration: Familiarity with Salesforce solutions and MuleSoft API integration is a plus.
Hands-On with Microservices: Experience working with distributed applications and microservices (containers, Kubernetes, serverless).
Nice-to-Haves:
Government-related experience
Knowledge of AWS technologies such as Amazon Connect, Pinpoint, DynamoDB, Kinesis Data Streams, and Polly.
