BQ International is hiring! We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Designer for a remote contract role within Canada. If you’re passionate about creating intuitive, accessible, and visually stunning digital experiences, this could be your next big opportunity!

📍 Location: Remote (Canada only)
📅 Contract Length: May 15, 2025 – April 30, 2026
💻 Role: UI/UX Designer (Contract)

What You’ll Do:
✔ Design & Maintain Design Systems – Use Figma to build and manage scalable design systems that ensure consistency across web and mobile applications.
✔ Craft User-Centric Interfaces – Deliver polished, accessible UI designs that meet WCAG standards, including audits and QA.
✔ Collaborate with Developers – Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless design implementation during sprints.
✔ Conduct User Research – Plan and execute usability tests, interviews, and surveys to drive data-backed design improvements.
✔ Create Wireframes & Prototypes – Develop detailed UX artifacts to visualize ideal user flows for both customers and internal teams.
What You Bring:

✅ 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing data-entry interfaces (web & mobile).
✅ Expertise in Figma (advanced properties, tokens, design systems).
✅ Proven ability to design accessible interfaces and conduct accessibility audits.
✅ Strong collaboration skills – ability to communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and developers.
✅ Bonus: Experience in enterprise/financial products, user research, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-Have (But Not Required):
🔹 Knowledge of Jira and Agile workflows.
🔹 Background in agriculture or agricultural software.
