Technical Scrum Master

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Technical Scrum Master who will lead and guide the team through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed. The successful candidate will identify and eliminate obstacles, conflicts, and issues that hinder the team’s progress, coordinating with external groups or stakeholders as needed.

Responsibilities:

Guide the team in adopting and practicing Agile principles and Scrum values, helping them develop self-management and continuous improvement skills.
Protect the team from external interference and distractions to allow them to focus on delivering value during the sprint.
Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders, ensuring a healthy and productive environment.
Encourage the team to track relevant metrics and make informed decisions to improve their processes.
Desired Skill Set:

2 years of experience in Risk, impediment and dependency management
2 years of experience in program increment planning
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Experienced meeting facilitator
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Nice To Have:

Previous banking or financial institution experience
Project Management Experience
Experience as a Release Train Engineer
Scaled Agile Framework certifications (SAFe SPC5+)
