Technical Lead / Senior Developer (C, C++, WPF) Remote in Canada

This role blends senior-level development with technical mentorship, offering far more creativity and ownership than typical corporate environments.
What You’ll Do
Lead by example through hands-on development (C, C++, C#/WPF)
Design and build new features within a large, mature codebase
Mentor and guide a small, high-performing team of developers
Act as the technical escalation point for complex challenges
Champion clean code, strong architecture, and best practices
Collaborate closely with product, QA, and support teams
What You Bring
Strong experience with C and C++ (application development)
Commercial experience with C#/WPF desktop applications
Senior-level background (7+ years; typically 12–15+)
Passion for technical depth, quality, and mentoring
Curiosity and interest in modernizing systems (AI, analytics, IIoT a plus)
Nice to Have
Industrial or networking protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, MQTT)
Interest in AI, predictive analytics, or system intelligence
Exposure to Linux, cloud platforms, or industrial systems
