Location: Remote (Canada) | Optional office access: Mississauga, ON
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 CAD base + discretionary bonus, benefits, vacation, and equity options

What You’ll Do
Lead by example as a senior, hands-on developer
Design and build high-performance software in C, C++, and C#/WPF
Mentor and guide a team of experienced developers
Own complex technical decisions and architecture
Act as the final escalation point for challenging technical issues
Collaborate closely with product, QA, and support teams
What You Bring
7+ years of professional software development experience (senior/lead level)
Strong expertise in C and C++ (application development, not embedded)
Commercial experience with C# and WPF
Experience working in large, complex codebases
Passion for clean code, technical depth, and mentorship
Nice to Have
Industrial protocols (OPC UA/Classic, Modbus, TCP/IP, MQTT)
Exposure to AI, predictive analytics, or system intelligence
Linux, cloud platforms, Docker, or industrial systems (SCADA/HMI)
Additional Information
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada
This role is primarily remote with standard 40-hour work weeks
