Job Title: Technical Help Desk Specialist – Hybrid (Toronto, ON)
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 days onsite per month)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm or 10:30 am – 6:30 pm; late shift coverage on rotation every 6 weeks (12 pm – 8 pm)
Contract Duration: 12–24 months, with possibility of extension based on performance
Salary Range: $25–$29/hr (INC)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Help Desk Specialist to join our growing team. This role is hands-on and client-facing, providing technical support for software, hardware, and network issues in a hybrid work environment. You will troubleshoot customer concerns, perform diagnostics, and maintain detailed records of all support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to computer system users via phone or remote support
Troubleshoot browser, software, and hardware issues across multiple platforms
Execute diagnostics and remedial actions while maintaining accurate documentation
Support IT projects and system updates as assigned
Qualifications:
Fluency in English
2–3 years of customer service experience
2–3 years of browser and software troubleshooting experience
Familiarity with operating system and desktop communication software
Nice to Have:
Previous help desk or contact center experience
Technical help desk experience in a hybrid or enterprise environment
Skills & Attributes:
Strong verbal and written communication
Problem-solving and customer service focus
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
