We’re Hiring: Technical Delivery Manager
Edmonton, AB (Hybrid – Primarily Remote)

The Application System is a not-for-profit organization representing 26 public post-secondary institutions. Our client operates and controls the central online application and transcript transfer system, empowering thousands of learners to connect with post-secondary opportunities.
Our client is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution of key projects across our technical teams, helping shape the digital infrastructure that supports the education ecosystem.

What You’ll Do
As Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll play a vital leadership role, ensuring high-quality project delivery across the full systems development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
Develop and manage project and resource plans, release timelines, risk management, and technical investigations.
Coordinate cross-functional work with ministry and enterprise-level partners.
Lead development teams: providing guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance oversight.
Ensure alignment with governance and standards while managing communication with stakeholders.
Oversee technical documentation, integration, deployment, and testing processes.
Deliver fully tested, production-ready components and ensure smooth implementation.

Work Requirements
Must reside and work within Alberta or in surrounding areas

Mandatory Qualifications
PMP or PgMP Certification (Active)
5+ years’ experience across the following:
Leading full SDLC projects
Managing technical teams and project resources
Preparing and executing project plans
Alberta post-secondary sector experience
Working with PESC-based educational data standards
Preferred Assets
Post-secondary degree in relevant field (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Business)
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and communication skills
5+ years:
Delivering within Enterprise Architecture frameworks
Facilitating requirements/design sessions
3+ years:
Architecting large-scale enterprise systems
Using source control, disaster recovery/business continuity planning
Working with MS Project or similar tools
