💼 Location: Downtown Toronto – Minimum 2–3 days in office
💰 Salary: $130,000–$150,000 CAD

We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader to oversee day-to-day operations across infrastructure, applications, monitoring, and incident response. This is your chance to lead a small team of engineers, shape operational excellence, and drive improvements across production systems while remaining deeply technical.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure and SRE engineers, guiding incident resolution and operational decisions.
Manage and maintain servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and monitoring systems.
Participate hands-on in projects, ensuring infrastructure aligns with standards and enterprise architecture.
Implement operational best practices, capacity planning, and change controls.
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, architects, and cybersecurity teams.
What You Bring:
7+ years in infrastructure operations or systems engineering.
2+ years in a technical or team leadership role.
Expertise in Linux/Windows Server, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems, Fortinet/Cisco networking, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch) and ITIL practices.
Comfortable working on-premises; cloud experience secondary.
