Job Title: Tableau Developer (AWS Integration)

Location: Vancouver, BC (Onsite/Hybrid as per client)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developer with strong experience integrating Tableau with AWS services such as S3, RDS, and Redshift. The ideal candidate will have strong data engineering fundamentals, dashboard development expertise, and hands-on experience working in cloud-based analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
Integrate Tableau with AWS services including Amazon S3, RDS, Redshift, and other data sources.
Build and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
Ensure dashboards follow best practices in performance optimization, usability, and data accuracy.
Conduct troubleshooting, performance tuning, and enhancement of existing dashboards.
Implement data governance, security, and access controls aligned with enterprise standards.
Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
Strong experience integrating Tableau with AWS services (S3, RDS, Redshift).
Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and cloud-based data warehousing.
Experience working in PST time zone.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
Nice to Have

Knowledge of AWS Glue, Lambda, Athena, or EMR.
Experience with Python for data processing.
Tableau Server/Cloud administration exposure.
