Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Testing/QA Specialist to join our dynamic client’s team on a government project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, with an ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary Agile team.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on testing strategies, test plans, selection of testing tools, and identification of resources required for testing.
Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments.
Execute systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance tests (e.g., stress tests).
Develop test plans, test scripts, and test cases, executing them across various components in collaboration with project leads and team members.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, including analysis, design, and implementation.

General Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience planning, organizing, and executing testing efforts.
Knowledge of structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
Expertise in using CASE tools and data query tools for test case development.
Proficiency with automated test tools and version control systems.
Experience in executing functional tests, non-functional tests, and systems-level integration tests.
Strong experience in creating testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases, and test data across various testing phases.
Experience in quality assurance practices, including unit testing, integration testing, load testing, performance testing, and more.
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with at least one programming language.

Knowledge of AODA compliance and related regulations.
Experience in coding automated test scripts and supporting testing in Agile environments.

Technical Skills:
Experience working with web and mobile technologies.
Expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS), specifically Drupal and/or WordPress.
Experience with automated testing tools and AODA testing to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 success criteria (Level A, AA, AAA).
Experience with DevOps, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Testing Skills:
Proficiency in manual testing and using data query tools to aid in test case development.
Experience in executing functional, non-functional, integration, security, and regression tests.
Knowledge of Black Box Testing, Penetration Testing, UAT testing, and end-to-end testing.
