Job Title: Sr. Workflow Automation Engineer – Remote (Canada)

About the Role:
Join a fast-growing team building automation workflows that power telecom operations. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll design, develop, and maintain production-grade workflows using JavaScript/TypeScript, Zapier, Workato, and other automation tools. You’ll collaborate directly with engineers, network specialists, and customers to turn complex requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Build and optimize telecom provisioning and operational workflows
Write custom logic using JavaScript/TypeScript
Partner with Network Solutions Engineers and Customer Solutions teams
Ensure workflows are reliable, maintainable, and scalable
Support customer-facing implementations and solution delivery
Must-Haves:
3+ years in technical roles (Software Engineer, Automation Engineer/Analyst, Support Engineer L2+)
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Experience building automation workflows (Zapier, Workato, or similar)
Comfortable working directly with customers
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Telecom or OSS/BSS experience (Bell, Telus, etc.)
Workflow engines, DAG-based systems, or integration pipelines
Prior client-facing technical roles
