✪ Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
(Hybrid -remote & 1 day/week onsite in Toronto)
✪ Public sector experience is considered an asset
✦ ᴍᴜsᴛ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ➡️ 5–7+ years of IT experience in web-based applications, QA automation, and performance testing, including 3+ years in a senior or lead role (preferably public sector). Strong expertise in JMeter performance testing, troubleshooting complex performance issues, and configuring performance test environments
✦ ʀᴇǫᴜɪʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴛs ✦
✔️ Expert-level experience with JMeter, including custom plugins, BeanShell/Groovy scripting, distributed testing, load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, and failover testing
✔️ Strong experience diagnosing performance bottlenecks using Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar APM monitoring tools
✔️ Deep knowledge of AWS/Azure, microservices architecture, Redis/Memcached caching, and load balancers
✔️ Preferred Candidates have experience with any of the following: ETL/DataStage, UNIX shell scripting, Siebel/CRM, and Unix/Linux administration
✔️ Advanced experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, query optimization, and analysis of slow-running queries under load
✔️ Experience reading and debugging backend code in Java, Python, Go, or .NET
✔️ Proven ability to design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, non-UI, APIs, and web services
✔️ Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Iterative methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality assurance practices
