Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Solution Designer. This position involves leading end-to-end solution design initiatives within a dynamic banking environment, collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders to modernize applications and workflows.

Salary range (CAD): $115,000 – $125,000

Responsibilities

Allocate approximately 30% of time to hands-on solution design activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business teams to coordinate solution development.
Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to ensure alignment among teams.
Analyze complex requirements and recommend efficient, scalable design solutions.
Communicate and present design decisions clearly to senior executives.
Support modernization projects focused on enhancing applications and workflows.
Ensure solutions adhere to SDLC best practices and architectural standards.
Identify potential issues early and provide creative, effective solutions.
Desired Skill-Set

Proven experience as a Solution Designer within the banking industry.
Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC processes.
Deep knowledge of application integration, including application and back-end system interdependencies.
Familiarity with the client’s technology stack: Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, Microservices architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to feedback effectively.
Nice to Have

Experience with modern banking applications and workflows.
Strong background in stakeholder engagement and facilitating design sessions.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Prior experience working on application modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with other frontend frameworks or cloud integrations.
