Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Project Manager (Wealth Management). This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and deliver critical initiatives within the wealth management domain, ensuring successful project outcomes in a dynamic banking environment.

Expected compensation range (CAD): $110,000 – $130,000

Responsibilities

Manage projects with budgets up to $1.6 million, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, Gantt charts, resource allocations, and forecasting documents
Coordinate activities across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive project progress
Facilitate clear and consistent communication between business and technology teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing trust and transparency
Effectively manage vendor relationships, asking the right questions to keep projects on track
Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and risks to proactively address issues and ensure quality outcomes
Desired Skill-Set

5–7 years of experience in project management within banking or financial services
Strong organizational and planning skills with a focus on delivering technology projects
Proven experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
Excellent communication skills tailored for stakeholder engagement at all levels
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including vendors, to meet project objectives
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Nice to Have

Knowledge of wealth management software systems such as portfolio management, trading platforms, and CRM solutions
Familiarity with project delivery within regulatory environments
Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management approaches
Prior involvement in platform upgrades and software enhancement initiatives
