Sr. Data Engineer

We BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. are hiring: Sr. Data Engineer for our healthcare client based in Saskatchewan 🇨🇦

📍 Location: Remote (occasional travel to Saskatchewan)
⏳ Contract: Oct 1, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026
🗓 Deadline: Sept 9, 2025

What You’ll Do:

☑️ Design & build ETL pipelines using Informatica, SQL, SSIS & APIs
☑️ Architect relational & multi-dimensional databases
☑️ Automate & optimize data processes & pipelines
☑️ Build analytics tools for actionable insights
☑️ Ensure data compliance & architecture alignment
☑️ Mentor & support junior data resources

Key requirements:

✅ Bachelor’s in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science
✅ 5+ years as a Data Engineer (or similar role)
✅ Strong skills with Informatica, SQL, Oracle, ETL, Python/R, APIs, Unix/Linux/Windows
✅ Hands-on with data modeling, pipeline optimization, cloud platforms

✨ Ideal candidate: Azure Data Engineer certification + healthcare data experience
