Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Fredericton, NB (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months with Possible Extension

Mandatory Requirements:
A Bachelor’s level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a similar discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
A minimum of 10 years of recent experience as a technical Business Analyst supporting both functional and technical design activities.
A minimum of 5 years of recent experience working with HL7 messaging standards using HL7 V2, V3 and FHIR.
A minimum of 10 years IM/IT experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrated recent experience as a lead business systems analyst in projects and operations work related to eHealth/digital health initiatives. Please provide examples of both project and operational related work.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a Canadian jurisdiction.
Demonstrated experience in facilitating sessions with diversified groups of clinical and non-clinical Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders, resulting in clear and concise business requirements.
Demonstrated experience in documenting Information flow modelling, workflow and activity diagrams, business process flow diagrams;
Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and interoperability specifications and implementation guides, to ensure both business and technical requirements are being met.
Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements meeting HL7 messaging standards. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating experience with HL7V3.
Ability to travel for face-to-face meetings. Preference will be given to candidates who can travel, as required.
Familiarity with security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy as it relates to NB’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA);
