Solutions Architect

We are hiring a Solutions Architect (Clinical Services – Labs, Imaging & Pharmacy) 🌟 🏥

We’re seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to provide architectural oversight and strategic direction for critical clinical IT initiatives in the Diagnostic and Drug Services department.

📋 Role Details:
📍 Location: 100% Remote (within Canada) + occasional travel to Saskatchewan
📅 Contract Term: April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (1 year initial + option for one 12-month extension)
⏰ Submission Deadline: March 26, 2026

💼 Responsiblities:
✅ Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture solutions for clinical systems
✅ Create architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
✅ Provide technical leadership and guidance across the implementation lifecycle
✅ Support the Architecture Review Board and present solutions
✅ Ensure integration with existing systems while aligning with business & clinical goals
✅ Define standards, best practices, and templates for the architecture team
✅ Support risk management, compliance, vendor evaluations & technology selection

✅ Mandatory Requirements:
🎓 Master’s degree in Computational Physics & Mathematics, Systems Science, IT, Engineering or Computer Science
OR
Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 3 additional years experience (total 7+ years as Solutions Architect)
🔥 Minimum 4 years proven experience as a Solutions Architect supporting Clinical IT projects with focus on Labs, Medical Imaging, and Pharmacy

✨ Strong knowledge of networking, storage, cloud, virtualization & security architecture
✨ Experience with physical/virtual servers, Data Domain, Isilon, high-availability setups
✨ Proven ability to collaborate with senior executives and technical teams
✨ Excellent problem-solving and trade-off analysis under uncertainty
