Are you a Solution Architect with a passion for cloud modernization, risk systems, and enterprise-scale transformation?
A major Canadian bank is looking for a senior architect to join their Global Risk Management Technology (GRMT) team. You’ll play a key role in reengineering the bank’s retail risk management platforms, integrating next-gen cloud-based and SaaS vendor technologies, and shaping the future of model risk governance.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
Design, modernize, and transform legacy systems into scalable, distributed cloud-native solutions
Lead architecture reviews across security, network, infrastructure, data, and applications
Architect complex integrations across on-prem, Azure, GCP, and SaaS platforms
Drive adoption of trusted governance frameworks, policies, and automated architecture standards
Present to and influence senior stakeholders using clear, concise technical communication
Research and recommend cutting-edge technologies to improve resiliency and performance
Guide risk modeling, AI/ML Ops, and model lifecycle integration into enterprise workflows
✅ What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of software/data engineering experience in the financial sector
Strong hands-on expertise in risk model lifecycle
Skilled in cloud integration, SaaS platform architecture, and systems with 10TB+ data volumes
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with SAS/SAS Viya, hybrid cloud (Azure/GCP), and enterprise security patterns is a plus
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
