Job Description
As a Solution Architect with Finance Domain, you will make an impact by designing end-to-end architecture for financial systems including core banking, risk management, trading platforms, and financial analytics.
In this role, you will
Architect Financial Solutions: Craft end-to-end architecture for financial systems including core banking, risk management, trading platforms, and financial analytics.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Technology Leadership: Guide development teams on standard methodologies in architecture, integration, and deployment.
Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet financial regulations (e.g., SOX, Basel III, PCI-DSS) and internal security standards.
Cloud & Integration: Lead cloud migration strategies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrate with third-party financial services (e.g., SWIFT, Bloomberg, Oracle Financials).
Agile & DevOps: Support Agile Release Trains and CI/CD pipelines in a SAFe or similar agile framework.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect role.
Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, UML).
Experience with technologies such as .NET, Java, Kafka, REST APIs, and microservices.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office at Toronto, ON.
