Exciting Opportunity: Solution Architect – Global Risk Management Technology 🚨

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join the Global Risk Management Technology (MET) team on an innovative, high-impact project. If you’re passionate about driving change and have expertise in risk management systems, this could be the perfect fit!

Key Details:
🔹 Location: Hybrid (1-2x/week on-site in Toronto)
🔹 Contract Duration: 9 months (with extension and potential for FTE)

Key Responsibilities:
Architect and design solutions to modernize legacy systems into global, distributed platforms.
Analyze complex business requirements and create technical specifications.
Align solutions with strategic roadmaps and identify new opportunities for the business.
Lead cross-functional discussions, drive architectural improvements, and implement security, resiliency, and technology standards.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and continuously propose enhancements.

Must-Have Skills:
✔️ 10+ years of experience in software/data engineering within the financial industry.
✔️ Experience with the risk model lifecycle and integrating vendor platforms (on-prem and cloud).
✔️ Expertise in SAS/SAS Viya and integration with GCP and Azure.
✔️ Excellent communication and strategic leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
🔹 Strong understanding of risk and capital management functions.
🔹 Experience architecting solutions for trusted governance frameworks.
🔹 Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-prem-to-cloud migrations.
