Software Tester (Accounting Systems) – 12-Month Contract-to-Permanent
We’re seeking a Software Tester with strong experience in accounting systems and financial processes to support the implementation, integration, and validation of new ERP/EPM modules within a fast-paced financial systems environment. This role is offered as a 12-month contract-to-permanent opportunity with a hybrid work model.
About the Role
You will play a key part in testing financial workflows, validating data integrity, and ensuring reliable, high-quality software releases. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, integrations, and go-live activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end testing of ERP/EPM accounting modules
Validate accounting data flows, reports, and system integrations
Develop and execute test plans, manage defects, and document results
Collaborate with internal teams to support system deployment
Participate in go-live and post-implementation validation activities
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of software testing or QA experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial processes
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion or similar)
Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
Familiarity with manual and automated testing
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
Background in finance or accounting (CPA or related exposure)
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
Knowledge of integration testing across enterprise platforms
