We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead two high-performing teams (10 engineers total) building a web-based marketplace platform. This is a high-impact, leadership-focused role with minimal hands-on coding, reporting to an Engineering Director remotely
What You’ll Do:
Lead and support 2 teams in roadmap delivery and execution.
Provide mentorship, direction, and coaching to ensure team growth and success.
Contribute to product strategy and challenge decisions constructively.
Enable teams to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude to optimize development workflows.
Technical Environment:
AWS cloud environment
TypeScript, Node.js
Java backend with Spring Boot
Who You Are:
Experienced in SaaS product engineering and team leadership.
Comfortable applying AI in software development workflows.
Strong product mindset with a focus on delivery, collaboration, and innovation.
Based in Toronto or willing to work in-office 2 days/week.
