Hiring: Software Engineering Manager (AI-Forward | .NET | AWS | Leadership)
📍 Toronto | Hybrid (2 days onsite)

We’re looking for a people-first, innovation-driven Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team building modern, secure, cloud-based products. This is a role for a strong communicator, natural mentor, and technical leader who loves solving problems, elevating teams, and shaping the future of engineering culture.

A team of 7–10 talented .NET engineers, driving delivery and technical excellence
Hiring, coaching, performance management, and career growth
Introducing AI-driven workflows and automation into the engineering ecosystem
Architecture reviews, high-level design, code quality, and delivery standards
Agile ceremonies, planning, backlog refinement, and Jira board flow
Cloud-powered development using AWS, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern engineering best practices
💡 What You Bring
8+ years in software engineering + 3+ years managing engineering teams
Experience hiring, coaching, and sometimes offboarding team members
Strong technical foundation in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, .NET 7/8
Solid cloud background (AWS required)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automation, DevOps practices
Proven Agile/Scrum leadership — you’re both an engineering manager and part-time scrum master
Experience introducing AI or automation into development workflows
Bonus: fintech experience, distributed systems, secure coding, event-driven architecture
