Software Engineering Intern (Canada – Remote)

SharpStakes is building the future of sports betting — one where Gen Z fans get smarter, bolder, and more engaged through data, culture, and community. We’re not just another betting tool — we’re creating a digital home for fans, where betting is social, personalized, and actually fun.

We’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern who’s built and launched full-stack apps from scratch and is fluent in React Native and Python. You’ll work directly with our core team on features that impact thousands of users — from real-time betting tools to backend automations and API integrations. This role is remote (Canada only).

What You’ll Do:

• Build and ship features using React Native (mobile) and Python (backend)

• Launch end-to-end user experiences — from UI to database

• Integrate APIs for sports data, odds, and analytics

• Collaborate with product/design to define and build features fast

• Improve performance, fix bugs, and shape the codebase

What We’re Looking For:

• Based in Canada and eligible to work

• Experience building and launching full-stack apps

• Strong in React Native + Python (backend experience preferred)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup

• Bonus: interest in sports, betting, or consumer tech
