Software Developer – Cloud Migration

TTP has an immediate need for a Software Developer – Cloud Migration
Contract – 5 months with renewal- Rate $82.00/hr
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite Downtown)
Note: All interviews are conducted in person in downtown Toronto. Candidates must be available for face-to-face meetings.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support a large-scale Cloud Migration initiative for a respected organization in the pension and financial services sector.
This role is ideal for a developer with strong cloud experience, expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments, and a passion for delivering enterprise-grade, modernized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Re-point and modernize C# .NET applications from Oracle to Snowflake, with a focus on performance and scalability.
Lead the Oracle to PostgreSQL migration, transforming PL/SQL routines to Snowflake.
Modernize data access layers and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
Collaborate closely with senior developers for code reviews and architectural best practices.
Deliver well-architected, maintainable, and efficient code on time.
Required Skills and Experience:
7+ years of hands-on software development experience
Proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL, Python
Strong experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake
Expertise with Microsoft Azure, including:
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Azure Data Lake Storage
Azure Key Vault
Experience in multi-threaded programming environments
Exposure to CI/CD tools (CloudBees, Jenkins, or UrbanCode) considered an asset
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
