As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will support the CanPR team in expanding our digital footprint, increasing engagement, and telling our brand story in fresh and creative ways. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about content creation, social media trends, and marketing strategy.

 

This internship is paid, and will be 15-30 hours per week for a 3 month period with a potential of extension.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing, curating, and scheduling content for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook
Support the execution of marketing campaigns, partnerships, and promotional materials
Monitor and engage with community comments and messages across platforms
Research current social media trends and suggest creative content ideas
Track and analyze content performance (likes, shares, saves, reach, etc.) and create monthly reports
Assist with basic graphic design and video editing using tools like Canva or CapCut
Collaborate with the team on brand storytelling, blog content, and marketing initiatives
Support other tasks as assigned by the Marketing & Sales team

 

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field
Passionate about social media, digital marketing, and storytelling
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Experience using Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn for brand or personal use
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, or basic video editing tools is a plus
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
Bonus: Photography or videography experience, or an understanding of newcomer/immigration-related content
Multilingual skills are an asset.
