Role: ServiceNow SecOps Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Developer with 7–10 years of Security Operations experience and strong hands-on expertise in implementing and supporting ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform development, security incident response workflows, vulnerability management, and integrations with enterprise security tools.
The candidate should be capable of working independently with cross-functional teams to design, develop, configure, and optimize SecOps solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow SecOps modules including:
Security Incident Response (SIR)
Vulnerability Response (VR)
Threat Intelligence
Develop and customize workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
Integrate ServiceNow with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection platforms, and third-party security solutions.
Automate security operations processes and incident remediation workflows.
Collaborate with Security Operations, Infrastructure, and Development teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Configure and maintain CMDB, Service Catalogs, and related ServiceNow modules supporting SecOps initiatives.
Troubleshoot platform issues and provide production support for ServiceNow SecOps applications.
Participate in platform upgrades, patching activities, and performance optimization.
Create technical documentation, knowledge articles, and deployment procedures.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7–10 years of overall Security Operations experience.
Strong hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow SecOps solutions.
Expertise in:
Security Incident Response (SIR)
Vulnerability Response (VR)
Threat Intelligence
CMDB and Discovery
Strong ServiceNow development experience including:
JavaScript
Glide APIs
Flow Designer
IntegrationHub
REST/SOAP integrations
Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools such as:
Splunk
QRadar
Tenable
Qualys
CrowdStrike
Microsoft Defender
Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Incident Response
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices
