Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a  Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst (Equities/Capital Markets). In this position, you will support crucial business initiatives within the Equities Markets Technology team, acting as a vital liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Pay rate range (CAD): $60.00/hr – $65.00/hr

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to gather and analyze complex requirements for equities middle office and post-trade activities
Facilitate solution design discussions to ensure alignment with business needs
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ask targeted questions, and lead requirement workshops
Prepare, review, and validate solution documentation, including scope, requirements, and QA considerations
Support end-to-end project delivery as a subject matter expert in both business and technology domains
Provide guidance to technical and project teams throughout implementation phases
Maintain collaborative communication channels to resolve operational and process issues effectively
Engage in all project lifecycle phases, from requirements gathering to deployment
Desired Skill-Set

2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within a large enterprise environment
Proven track record managing full project lifecycles in Agile methodologies
Advanced SQL skills with strong understanding of database design, data structures, and API/data integration
Strong analytical ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with multiple priorities
Nice to Have

Capital Markets experience, including trading, post-trade processing, or reporting
Experience with client-facing web portals
Exposure to Azure cloud environments
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft ecosystem
Data projects or analytics experience
