We are hiring a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist for a high-impact public sector healthcare project with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement (Ontario).
📍 Location: 5700 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
🗓 Contract: Feb 9, 2026 – Nov 4, 2026 (183 business days)
⏱ Hours: 7.25 hours/day

Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead and execute functional and non-functional system testing across complex healthcare systems, including COTS applications, in-house web apps, APIs, HL7/FHIR integrations, ETL/data migration processes, and BI/reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform system, integration, regression, security, performance, and accessibility testing (WCAG 2.0)
Test APIs, HL7/FHIR web services, ETL/data migration workflows, and BI/reporting solutions
Create and maintain test artefacts: test plans, test cases, scripts, defect logs, and reports
Develop and execute automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI)
Lead testing efforts, mentor junior testers, and coordinate test execution
Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders
Support UAT, production validation, defect triage, and release sign-off
Required Experience
7+ years in Systems Testing / QA roles (lead-level experience preferred)
5+ years working on large, complex public sector healthcare projects
Strong experience with API testing, HL7/FHIR, ETL, data migration, and SQL
Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail, etc.)
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile & DevOps methodologies
Experience testing COTS solutions and mission-critical systems
Familiarity with OPS / public sector IT methodologies and standards
Nice to Have
Automation framework experience
BI testing (Cognos, dashboards, analytics)
Programming or scripting knowledge
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
