Cooperators is looking for a Senior Systems Developer to join our Emerging Business Model Tech team—a dynamic group driving innovation in digital-first platforms and hyper-personalized insurance experiences.

🌟 Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Planning & Development: Lead the design of technical solutions by evaluating technologies and implementing system features of moderate to high complexity using both new and existing code.

2. Release Ownership: Manage end-to-end deployment of application changes across UAT, PreProd, and Production environments, ensuring alignment with release management protocols.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, QA, BSAs, and POs to schedule releases, set up environments, and validate deployments, including rollback procedures.

4. Quality & Oversight: Conduct technical reviews of release manifests, monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues during release windows, and facilitate Go Checkpoint meetings and retrospectives.

5. Version Control & Support: Maintain release documentation and version control, while resolving deployment-related concerns raised by engineers, QA teams, and agile squads.

6. Work in a hybrid model with flexible options and a strong culture of support and development.

💡 What we’re looking for:
• DevOps & Automation Expertise: Proven experience with GitHub, open-source automation via APIs, and CI/CD pipeline development to streamline deployments and reduce lead time.

• Salesforce & Cloud Proficiency: Skilled in automating Salesforce sandbox and production environments, metadata deployments, and cloud solutions—especially on AWS.

• Toolset Mastery: Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence APIs, and ServiceNow for managing change, release, incident, and problem workflows.

• Technical Strengths: Advanced knowledge of Python and strong understanding of deployment architecture and release governance.

• Collaboration & Leadership: Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A mindset for innovation, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
