We’re Hiring: Senior Solution Architect – Cloud & Application Security (Contract)
📍 Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week in either Downtown Toronto or Scarborough
⏳ Contract Duration: 6 months (strong potential for extension or full-time conversion)

🌐 About the Opportunity:
Join one of Canada’s top financial institutions to lead cloud and application security architecture for large-scale, enterprise-level projects. You’ll play a critical role in implementing vulnerability detection tools, Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and scalable security-first architecture that protects millions of users.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
Design end-to-end solutions for cloud-based and hybrid environments with a focus on application security
Drive technical direction and support deployment of advanced security tools
Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders across the bank
Ensure compliance with architectural standards and IT governance frameworks
Provide strategic input for projects such as SCA SBOM and vulnerability reporting systems
✅ Must-Have Experience:
10+ years in IT architecture and solution design
2+ years in networking and security best practices
2+ years of cloud architecture at the enterprise level (multi-cloud or hybrid)
5+ years working with design patterns (microservices, APIs, enterprise integration)
💡 Nice-to-Haves:
TOGAF certification
Hands-on coding experience (Python or Java)
Prior exposure to application security tools or frameworks

You’ve worked on large-scale projects and can clearly articulate end-to-end architectural decisions — not just your piece of the puzzle.
