📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
🕒 Contract through Oct 31, 2026 (extension & conversion possible)
💰 $76–$88/hour INC (based on experience & role scope)
We’re looking for 3 Senior Software Engineers to join a high-impact team modernizing credit risk and regulatory platforms at a large Canadian financial institution. You’ll work hands-on with Python and Google Cloud, delivering solutions tied to Basel III and IFRS9 regulatory initiatives.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Build and optimize Python applications using cloud-native GCP services
Design, review, and improve scalable architectures for risk analytics
Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, analytics, and regulatory teams
Deliver clean, well-documented, production-grade code
🧠 What You Bring
8+ years of hands-on software development experience
3+ years of recent Python expertise
Experience with GCP (BigQuery, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions)
Strong fundamentals in SQL, OOP, and software design
Bonus: exposure to Basel III, IFRS9, credit risk, Pandas/NumPy, Airflow, Docker/Kubernetes
