Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Consultant
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Terraform, working with AKS, Azure, Kubernetes, PowerShell, and CI/CD automation. The candidate should have extensive experience coding infrastructure as code and a strong development background. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can immediately contribute to infrastructure development and automation, and bring a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.

Qualifications:
8+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on SRE experience.
Extensive experience with Azure, specifically with AKS and other Azure cloud services.
Proven experience with Terraform and coding infrastructure as code for at least 2-3 years.
Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Strong knowledge of PowerShell and Shell scripting.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
A hands-on Terraform expert with at least 2 years of consistent daily experience in the field.
A candidate who can act as the Terraform subject matter expert within the SRE team.
Ability to hit the ground running and quickly contribute to critical infrastructure tasks.
Must be highly motivated, with a strong background in software engineering and experience building infrastructure through code.
