Senior Senior Angular JS Developer
This is with a global IT services firm for a leading investment/wealth management services firm.
Client Location is downtown Toronto Ontario, close to TTC and GO service.
Hybrid – In Office 4 days per week.
Contract – 6 months, possible renewal

Responsibilities:
– Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects.
– Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff and peers to understand requirements.
– Develop solutions that are in line with client’s technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities.
– Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.
Mandatory Skills:
– University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
– Must have good communication skills, strong client-facing skills and able to manage client’s expectations
– Demonstrated experience developing and integrating enterprise business applications within the financial services industry preferred 7+ years
– Experience with technologies/frameworks such as Angular JS, AWS
– Demonstrated experience integrating applications and processes using web services, API
– Demonstrated experience using Agile or Rapid Application Development practices
– Strong technical skills in Angular JS 7+ years
– Good understanding and practical experience in DevOps, CI/CD
– Jira, Confluence, 1+ years, confident user
Nice-to-Have Skills:
– Python and Java Development background
– Capital Markets domain knowledge
