Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:

 

Manual + Automation Testing

Technical skills

10 years of experience in planning and organizing testing efforts for both large and small systems in GUI and non-GUI environments
Demonstrated experience with business clients, supporting user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activities.
Demonstrated experience in executing functional tests, non-functional tests, and systems level integration tests
Demonstrated experience in coding automated test scripts to produce sets of automated test cases
Demonstrated experience in procedures and techniques of testing web based, online, batch, client server systems and web services.
Demonstrated experience Knowledge and experience in the use of DevOps tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests.
Validate functionality against requirements and user expectations.
Perform positive, negative, exploratory, and boundary testing.
Track test results and report pass/fail statuses.
Other skills

Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and test plan walkthroughs and in carrying out static testing.
Demonstrated experience in setting up user access and user profiles, backup and recovery, and day-today computer systems operations.
Identify, log, and categorize defects with clear steps to reproduce.
Prioritize defects based on severity and impact.
Coordinate with developers and business analysts for defect triage.
Validate fixes and perform re-testing and regression testing.
Provide daily/weekly QA status reports.
Communicate risks, blockers, and quality concerns early.
Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives.
Working experience on applications that automate internal government business processes such as WebSphere, e-Forms, JDBC, and Business Objects Enterprise etc., would be an asset.
