Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst

We’re Hiring: Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst – Onsite, Fredericton NB

We’re hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst to support large-scale modernization initiatives for complex, public-facing systems. This is a 100% onsite opportunity in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and local candidates are strongly preferred.

Previous government or public sector experience is a strong asset

🍁What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead modernization initiatives for a complex licensing system, including requirements documentation and validation
Develop current-state documentation for existing systems and integrations
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and stakeholder requirements
Produce detailed Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for system upgrades
Contribute to modernization roadmaps and platform upgrade strategies
Manage and coordinate development, QA, and internal BA teams
Oversee project scheduling, backlog management, change requests, and operational work
Lead onboarding of systems into Azure DevOps to support automated testing
Coordinate work across multiple teams for highly integrated environments
Lead system upgrades (e.g., MQ upgrades, Micro Focus CM upgrades)
Manage multiple concurrent projects based on capacity

✅ Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working on large, complex systems with integrations
5+ years of Project Management experience
Proven experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities

⭐ Nice-to-Have / Scored Requirements:
2+ years (last 5 years) as a Senior Business Analyst on complex projects
3+ years (last 5 years) as a Project Manager on complex initiatives
3+ years performing senior BA activities (requirements elicitation, workshops, process modeling, system documentation)
3+ years leading cross-functional teams with internal and external stakeholders
2+ years leading multi-jurisdictional (Federal / Provincial) projects
3+ years working with systems integrated with corporate financial systems
3+ years supporting or developing systems for government service delivery organizations
Experience with Azure DevOps, automated testing, registry or licensing systems
Familiarity with modernization frameworks and platform upgrade initiatives
