Job Title: Senior Performance Testing Engineer
Location: Barrie, ON (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Testing Engineer to join a dynamic team, working on an exciting project One. This role will be key in the transition of IVR/Routing applications to the Genesys Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing, working with tools such as JMeter and HP LoadRunner, and a solid understanding of PaaS/SaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, write, maintain, and execute performance/load tests using tools such as JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
Develop automated test scenarios, performance strategies, and documentation for reporting test results.
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to understand system architecture and business requirements, creating effective performance test plans.
Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to establish clear acceptance criteria for testing.
Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of performance issues, recommending technical solutions.
Lead efforts to optimize test case documentation and continuously improve testing processes.
Provide training and mentorship to team members on performance testing best practices.
Design and maintain scalable, flexible, cross-platform performance test frameworks.

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in performance testing.
3+ years of hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, HP LoadRunner, or similar.
Expertise in PaaS/SaaS performance testing.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Genesys Cloud and other contact center systems is highly preferred.

Nice to Have:
Experience with digital communication channels like Chat, Chatbots, Email, and SMS.

Additional Information:
Hybrid role: 2 days/week onsite in Barrie, ON
Onboarding: Start date will be the first week of March.
