Senior Okta Engineer (SME) – IAM | Remote (Canada)
We’re looking for a Senior Okta Engineer (SME) to join a high-impact Identity & Access Management initiative supporting enterprise-scale authentication and security modernization.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll design and implement secure identity frameworks across applications, APIs, and cloud environments.
🚀 What You’ll Do
Lead Okta-based authentication & authorization design (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management)
Build and enforce RBAC/ABAC security models
Secure APIs and microservices with modern identity standards
Integrate IAM into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on secure-by-design systems
Act as an IAM SME across enterprise initiatives
🔑 What We’re Looking For
Strong hands-on Okta experience (SSO, MFA, Universal Directory)
Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, LDAP
Experience with RBAC / ABAC design
IAM integration with APIs and microservices
Familiarity with Terraform / Ansible (IaC)
CI/CD and DevSecOps experience
French language proficiency (required)
🌟 Nice to Have
Okta or IAM certifications
Experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, Azure AD / Entra ID
Cloud IAM (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Zero Trust architecture exposure

Location: Remote (Canada-based, supporting Quebec teams)
Duration: 6-month contract (extension likely)
Work Type: Contract
