Senior Network Security Specialist
📍 Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid – 8 days onsite per month)
📅 Contract: Initial 2-year term
⏰ Overtime may be required

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Specialist to join the operational team and play a key role in network security operations, technology evergreening, and maintaining the integrity of enterprise security controls.

Important Requirement:
Candidates must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years to be eligible for Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications:
University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in network operations and network security, including testing, troubleshooting, and integration within enterprise environments.
Minimum 5 years of recent experience working with:
-Cisco switching and routing platforms
-Check Point firewall technologies
-Security management platforms
Strong knowledge of IT Operations, including monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and the management of network security events and vulnerabilities.
Experience supporting the software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes from concept through implementation.
Experience designing, supporting, or working within scalable, highly available service-oriented architectures.
Experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting network security controls, including firewalls, network segmentation, and secure network configurations aligned with security best practices.
Experience working in SCRUM environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools.
Experience working with ServiceNow.
