Senior Java Developer

Senior Java Developer for a Very-Well-Established TOP10 Canadian Insurance Company in Canada!
(*6 months contract + possible extension(s), Toronto, ON – 2 days per week)

Looking for:
· 7+ years of hands-on experience in API and microservices development using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
· Proficiency with Apache Kafka, including publishing and consuming patterns for real- time streaming and event-driven solutions.
· 5+ years of experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
· Demonstrated experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, Mulesoft).
· In-depth knowledge of authentication protocols like OAuth, JWT, and secure API design.
· Experience implementing event-driven architectures and real-time processing pipelines.
