Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Hybrid – Toronto)
Location: Toronto, ON (3 days/week in office – non-negotiable)
Salary Range: $160,000–$170,000 CAD + 0.5% equity
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building a modern data & workflow platform.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is high ownership, zero-to-one building, real production impact.
You’ll be:
One of the first engineers beyond the founding team
Reporting directly to the CTO
Owning systems end-to-end (architecture → build → deploy → monitor)
Influencing core technical decisions
Mentoring junior engineers (while remaining hands-on)

🛠 Tech Stack
Backend: Python, AWS (EKS, Lambda), Docker
Frontend: React + TypeScript
Database: PostgreSQL (strong data modeling required)
Infra: Terraform, Grafana, CI/CD
✅ What We’re Looking For
5–7+ years professional engineering experience
Strong startup / high-growth product background
True full-stack capability (frontend + backend)
Production ownership (monitoring, debugging, performance)
Systems thinking (caching, async behavior, race conditions)
Comfortable working hybrid in downtown Toronto
Builders > Maintainers.
Ownership > Ticket takers.
